OVERVIEW
A new logo was requested for the Crisis Intervention Teams Association of Colorado, as the old one was dated, and did not represent the specialized organization. Based on the background of the group and what they do and represent, this was a special project to be a part of.
BACKGROUND
CITAC is the Crisis Intervention Team Association of Colorado, an organization that specializes in providing law enforcement with the best resources to assist in mental health and crisis situations within their communities. I was humbled to be able to assist in providing a new logo for them that would reflect on who they are.
PROCESS
The new design incorporates a custom sans serif type, solid and bold.
The chevrons represent the rank insignia of law enforcement, the mountains of Colorado, and the upward momentum and positive outcomes that come from the organizations training.
The design itself is in a rectangular shape for easy use within a patch format to be incorporated on a uniform.
RESULTS
The new design provided an updated and modern look to the visuals of the organization, a professional presentation in both virtual and real life presence.
